If you take ALL of our custom CoH Maps, including those that were in the MegaMap Pack, (we've tossed several) it accounts for about 200 custom maps total, at about 100 4-player maps, and 50 each of 6-player and 8-player maps. The problem is that because of the MegaMap Pack, some of us had different versions of the same map, and some of us had maps that others didn't have because broken or bad maps got tossed.
I have now cleaned everything up, and made our own set of Map Packs out of them. There are no duplicates. I made 10 MGMapPacks out of ALL of the maps that we currently play. I am certain that some of them still need to be culled out for various reasons (including some from the new set that I added), and when we find those problem-maps, I will keep the MapPacks updated with the deletions.
The MegaMap Pack is out... the 10 MGMapPacks are in. The 10 MGMapPacks are a superset of the MegaMap Pack.
However... you need to get on the same page as everyone else, otherwise you'll continue to get booted/kicked because of mismatches. Here's what you need to do:
- First download the 10 MapPacks.
Then go to your THQ/Company of Heroes/WW2/Data/Scenarios/MP folder and delete everything!
Move the MapPacks to the same folder, right-click them, and select "Extract to here". It will extract all of the maps to their own individual folders as before. At that point, you will have all the same versions/collections as everyone else.
If you don't want to delete everything, then you risk the Wrath of Khan!!! I spent an entire day cleaning all these maps up, converting sga files to sgb files, fixing the minimaps, etc., and if we fire up a game and you get kicked because you didn't properly delete or move the old maps out of the way, then you will suffer all manner of foul language and ridicule.
The links to the Map Packs are located in the members-only NCO Club in the Custom Maps Sticky-Topic here:
